Sean Moran

guitarist and composer Sean Moran is based in NYC and has worked with artists such as Steve Wilson, the Virginia Symphony Orchestra, Teo Macero, Ron McLure, and John D’earth. He currently performs and has recorded with Bift, the four bags, Twelve 20 six, Options, vocalist Andrew Thompson, singer/songwriter Allison Tartalia, One Ring Zero, Alvin Walker (of the Count Basie Orchestra), Matt Glassmeyer, Federico Ughi and many others.

He has toured Japan and performed throughout the U.S. Sean is a faculty member at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music. He recently completed a piece for the Soundclock contemporary music ensemble which was performed at Merkin Concert hall. Sean studied music at Virginia Commonwealth University and New York University.
